I don't know about the other members, but as for myself, there were
only two regular cab V8's in the whole Dallas area when I got my
truck, and I needed my truck immediately. Besides, I don't complain
during the six hour drive to San Antonio - 75 mph and I'm just turning
2200 rpm. Yes, it is an ultra highway gear, but since I don't think
I'll be able to get the rear to stick with a hard 5 spd launch - even
after the Lock Right and Lakewoods - I'm not really concerned with the
high gears (maybe I'm wrong). This is my only vehicle, so in a way,
I'm crazy for taking it to the track and driving it like I do in the
first place!!! Anyway, that's my "3.21 story".
