For your information Ford is no better. My wife has a 96 Cougar and only 2 of the
6 positions are labled A/C, but the compressor will run in all but 2. So I guess
Ferd doesen't care either. Come to think of it my GMC Syclone was the same way
also!
Guess many manifactures don't care if you know if the compressor is running. I
know there used to be settings called economy where the compressor didn't run, but
I dont see that on a/c controls anymore!
