true story, a friend of mine with a carb'd 89 IROC Z-28 wrapped his fuel lines
in something that they use for air conditionings.. he got it at scottys, has
some insulative material on the inside, and some padding on the outside that
looks similar to what they wrap a rollbar in.. or the handlebars of your old
bike...

the results?
2 tenths decrease in the 1/4 mile... this could have been due to the stock
hood and crummy fuel line routing tho.
