I wish I knew how they compared! :-) That would make this decision
a lot easier.

Here's the writeup from the catalog:

-------------------------------
  Summit Truck Headers

These smog legal Summit Truck Headers can
give you up to 15 extra horsepower and torque
increases in the 1,500-3,500rpm range. They
feature 16 guage tubing, extra thick 3/8" flanges,
and come with gaskets and hardware.

SUM-G0944: 1992-95 Ram/Dakota 5.2/5.9
SUM-G0945: 1996-1997 Ram/Dakota 5.2/5.9

$159.99
-------------------------------

I notice that Summit says up to 15hp. Are the JBAs good for more?
Has anyone found out what the HP increase is on the 318 with the
JBA headers?

This is pretty important. If the JBAs are good for 30hp, for
example, I'd spend the extra cash.

Has anyone gotten a price from (Jeff?) JBA about what a coated
set would cost, and what coating they use?

  I didn't see any Dodge specific performance info on their web site;
just some camaro and F-150 stuff.
