Thanks, Brian - and to any other replies. Will tell the dealer about
tit when I take it in for the "check engine". I talked to West Oaks
about it and they said at least till I got it to the dealer, not to
worry unless it was below about 20 psi.

My friend's Jeep's oil pressure varies with engine rpm - 20 to 90.
My
truck's oil pressure has never fluctuated, though. Actually, the
gauge
never moves unless you turn it on or off(93 Dak). I think my gauge
sender
thing is broken. I have no idea why it would do that, and no good
advice
to give but to tell the dealer. I think someone else on the list
asked
about oil pressure. Maybe, maybe not, I can't really remember.
