You can also check for manifold leaks by spraying starting fluid around the
seals. Be very cautious with the amount you spray, if there is a leak, you
will hear an increase in your idle rpm. You can also do this around vaccuum
hoses but you may here a decrease or an increase in rpm. Just a little shot
will do it. Did you hook up your crankase breather hose? I would assume you
did, but just checking.
