Hello list!

Spent all afternoon and evening @ HRP for the Mopar truck shootout and the
evening bracket racing. They wouldn't let us get any time trials in for the
Mopar truck shootout so we just had to dial and race!

I dialed 15.10 for the first pass. Very Hot!!! Mike can attest to this, glad
I have Ram Air. Well, I broke out.........Went 15.03 on that 15.10 dial. Oh
well, at least I knew how it was running.

After some more passes down the track, I settled down to wait for the "no
electronics" class to start.........To make a long war story shorter, after 5
rounds of elimination's, we were down to 1/4 finals. I had been lounging on
the fence with a few others watching a 93 Mustang GT rip up the track 147.88
mph @ 9.82 sec. And the dammed car looked stock! Anyway I hear the track
announcer saying they are one car short in the foot brake class, that's when I
realized it was me!!!

I hightailed it to the staging lanes just in time and cleaned off the tires
and staged up against a Slushstang coupe covered in stickers. Here is the
result:

Mustang Dakota

Some of the other times were:
(all dial 15.00)
R/T .541 15.059@90.09mph
R/T .513 15.056@90.51mph
R/T .534 15.064@89.92mph
R/T .516 15.012@90.44mph

My finall run I was paired up with real fancy pro street (76)
T/A.........Well, I finally red lighted and fouled out..........R/T .499.....I
didn't even take it all the way down at full speed.......a 1/4 mi run of 22.43
sec.

Its been really hot down here of late. Too hot for much racing.
So I added a few bucks to my pocket for the wins and making it to the semis.
Plus added another $$$ winner sticker to the rear window...Hell before long I
may need a new window.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
