I believe this diccussion is as old as v8s... remember the factory headers
for 65 mustangs, the "original" try why... Then came equal length,
then..... Only the Dyno knows for sure, and scientific investigations are
kinda rare in the industry. to scavenge before or at the collector, to H
pipe or not to H pipe... Hmmmmm
