I have a 94 4X4 3.9 with the 'stainless steel' muffler rusting away. Is
this normal??? Also, the shield around the cat converter is also
rusting away.

BTW I had a 87 dakota 3.9 for 7 years and the stainless steel muffler
never rusted away.
