Is it the Battery?
When the starter went (on the 94) a warning sort took place. Turn key,
motor wanted to go on its own then all of a sudden STOP mid crank and
CLICK CLICK CLICK. Got to the point when all it did was CLICK over a two
week span. Sometimes it would still catch and go. I have a lot of
patience. Did not check the code. Replaced the starter NAPA OF course.
When the Battery went out it was over night. Turn key, tired getting
out of bed attitude, wants to go but will not, Roarer, EOR, ER, Er, er,
err..uh but still had the GREEN showing, go figure. Took a jump and
died again. Befor it was gone took a code for giggles and said 14 I
think I can hardly remember, Generator neg or over feed back or
something. Put a new Battery now no code at all. Where did that code go?
Battery can be checked at places that sell them. Replaced the BAT. I do
most my shopping at NAPA. I am sure you like were you go. ALT just fine.
You know just the 12 55 or something. Dakotas are not for the average
person. You really got to love them to stay with em. I tell the faint of
heart to get a toyota. That's my story. NO GENIUS HERE! No spell check
here either.
ARG12 is the relay in the starter? and can those be rebuilt? Where did
put my book?
