What is everyone doing to the throttle shafts on the TB's.
Here is what I have done.
I didn't machine down the shaft but instead I cut the non threaded
side
of the shaft off. By doing this you gain a lot of flow. I brazed the
shaft together in the middle where it goes through the body so it
would
still have that support, then cut the rest of it away. You can either
use counter sunk machine screws or round head allen screws to secure
the
throttle plates to the shaft. I felt a pretty good seat of pants
difference by doing this. I had to back the idle screw off a little
though.
