  Yep, I'd say you're right. I forgot to respond to that part of
his question, but I'd say that the JBA's are better at pulling the heat
out of your engine (and putting a lot of it in the engine bay) ;-) than
the stock manifolds which would cool the engine and help to eliminate the
"hot spots" that cause pinging.
