leak is 1945S-1. They are called sealing domes.
Our 1992V8 cc Dak now again has a functioning overdrive transmission.
It is a 1995 box with 20000 miles, and from the length of dip stick tube
, from a van.
My son and I are going to go through the "is dead Jim" box for the
fun and excitement a transmission death and resurrection can generate.
This was about the 5th time the Y-pipes came down fron the JBAs.
The last time we put them up was after we used the "sealing domes",
there was no leakage what so ever.
This time putting them back up we used grade 8 bolts shorter than
those included in the Jba kit. That saved some cranking on the
racthet time.
