Funny thing, when I got home from the track that Sat., I realized that a
few things I could have done to improve my 1/4 mi times:

1) The carpet kit weighs in at about 75lbs. (not a lot of traction help
there).
2) The shell weighs in at a heft 225lbs. (that helps on traction a little),
but the
truck did better times without the shell previously, and I had about the
same
amount of wheelspin... Tailgate down, or a tonneau would be the better
way to go.
3) I had 4 boxes of datacable under my carpet kit from work!!! (1000' each,
40#
    per box= 160lbs.)

If I were to remove this dead weight-- 400-460 lbs. of weight!!!!
(that's the rough
weight difference between a SC and a CC!!!

Let me get my diff. looked at, then I'll try the track again...
