RE: Tire Sizes -Reply

Sorry dude - truck's at a dealership now - I just got up and walked
outside to check for you and saw the ford escort powerhouse I'm
renting now sitting in my parking spot. Gimme a break - I work
6:00-3:00 and it's early.....

I know they are p295/50/r15 BFG Radial T/A's. Should really have a
9.5" rim, but they put them on the 8" tire & wheel package rims at my
request - no problems so far. They are just about exactly 1" shorter
than the Goodyear LS tires that came on the truck from the factory -
served three purposes for me - leveled the truck, lowered the rear
ratio, and stick a lot better with around 20 lbs of pressure in them.

I like the look of >=17" rims, but I think I'll have better luck
sticking to the pavement with 15" rims and tall, wide rubber in the
rear and skinny's in the front - just have to find some rims I like.
The latest mods and a few hunting season preparation expenditures
have put the checkbook out of action for now - lock right or ez locker
dif is next.

You run 295s!! What's the whole size 295/??/?? That's exactly what
I'm
looking for.
Thanks again,
Robert
