I called them a bit ago after I read your message .

It seems that they will be making an air box that houses a factory style
air filter instead of an open element .

I asked if he meant that it would be routed to the factory air box and he
said no .

He said that it will basically be a flat K&N filter (similar to the design
of the factory filter) sitting directly on top of the intake and sealed to
the hood .

Sounds like it may be a good idea .

The air wouold go in the opening and directly into the top of the filter/TB .

I'm interested in what they come up with .
