flowmaster installation

I've just received my new Flowmaster 50 series SUV muffler today. I
took a
shot at installing it myself and I just can't get the stock muffler
seperated from the pipes. Has anyone done the install themselves? Do
you
think that a local muffler shop would install a muffler that I have not
purchased from them?

I bought my Flowmaster from Summitt, then looked in the Yellow pages and
found a muffler shop that did custom work. I went by and talked to the
guy and no problem. He did a 3" from the cat back and made it exit in
the stock location with the stock angle and even the stock cut off
angle. If you didn't see the 3 inch pipe sticking out or hear the
flowmaster, you'd think it was stock.
