I regularly flat tow my 1986 Suzuki Samurai longbed 4X4. with my Jayco
Sportster 7' folding truck camper. At about 8500# gcwr, not including
supplies and the family, it will pull all day in 4th lockout with 31x10.5
and 3:90 gears. The rest of the time it is my wife's daily driver with
plenty of back seat room for the kids and easy to park.

Nearly the best of both world.
