I've got a ported TB. Made no difference in the gas mileage (as long as I
keep my foot out of it).

Really if you think about it, as long as you don't open the throttle enough to
use the added flow capacity, there shouldn't be a difference. Essentially
you're just flowing more air earlier in the throttle travel, so the computer
compensates by adjusting the air/fuel ratio. Now, if your foot get's
heavy.......
