I have a 98 sport rc, 318 auto, 3.92sg, Mopar headers. If I set my cruise control
on 60 mph and drive an a fairly level road the computer on the overhead reads 20+
mpg. I made a 150 mile trip and checked by topping the tank before and after and
got 19.8, so the computer is very close. These figures can be duplicated
anytime. I have been able to get this mileage since 500 miles were on the truck.
NOW if I speed up to 75 the mileage drops to 16. Town mileage is hard to figure
if you have to spend a lot of time at red lights!!! BTW I have 275-60X15 tires
and they say that may lower me mileage.
