Or just pickup the blower motor from Magnum Perf., complete for under
$10K, and have a "spare" motor in case anything breaks! Supposed to be
good for 400+hp according to the charts...

8520.00 grand total for about a 360HP (CONSERVATIVE) + other goodies.
Looks
like After paying 27000.00 for the R/T, Ive got 9480.00 left over (even
after the seat upgrade) to do some more:
Independent rear suspension upgrade from Viper: 4500.00 (XR71 Dak)
Huge front disks w/6 puck calipers:1200.00
Flow ported Mojo Hand with Haze containment: Priceless

The math: 9480-5700=
3780.00 left over still, Time to book that CO ski trip!
And Ive still got my warranty coverage and CARB approval (for us left
coasters).
Hmm Lightning or R/T.... I just cant decide.
NOT

In a message dated 98-09-25 12:30:02 EDT, you write:

<< You should commend
 Ford
for such a great truck. Anyways that is a highly modified 5.4
supercharged
intercooled enginge what did Chrylser do to the R/T and SST engines
nothing.
All the did was add freer flowing exhaust and that was about it nothing
to
 the
 engine >>

True, but which one is more afforadble. A fully loaded R/T for under
$30,000
or a fully loaded Lightning for under $45,000. Hell, with the extra
$15,000
tha fellow DMLers saved by purchasing the R/T, I think you could add a
supercharger, new cam, new everything. Everyone is entitled to their own
opinions and I am sure people on the Ford or Chevy Mailing lists talk
sh*t
about our Dakotas and other trucks. Just my 2 cents.

Late,
