Sag from idle

All,
I was in a position where I needed to me ahead of an S10 that was next to me
at a light today. So I "almost" floored it. The truck sagged really bad
until I hit about 2500 RPM. Anyone have any ideas what caused this? Drive
train is the 5.2L, Auto, 3.92's and 31X10.5X15's and 4X4. The only thing I
have done is my homebrew FIPK, and it is not the culprit as I have floored
it many times from a stand still and it has always launched. Mileage is just
over 15000. I'm not worried that something is broken, just thinking that it
may be something that is worn like the crap cap and rotor or maybe the
plugs. Any ideas?
