<< Ok, I have been looking through the archives. What did ya'll ever decide
on the cam issue. Patrick, what are you running in your Indy (or is it
SS/T, I remember you from the old dodge list) I just want my truck to be
faster, I dont care if the light comes on to check the engine or not, as
long as it doesnt hurt anything. Thanks
>>

My cam specs are as follows...

lift .512"int/.512"exh
dur @ .050" 210int/220exh
adv dur is 264int/274exh
lope sep is 112

My cam is pretty radical when it comes to computer controlled vehicles. The
idle is very similar to a Mustang with a Motorsports 'E' cam, which is pretty
choppy. Low end torque took a hit, but the midrange-top end is explosive...
even more so with the Vortech huffing along. You'd definatly want a 3.92 or
4.10 (or steeper), a modified or M1 intake, headers, and a looser converter
wouldn't hurt things.

Comp also has a cam that's alittle more tame, it's lift figures are
.480"int/.512"exh, duration is 206int/210 exh at .050" of lift... again, on a
112 degree lobe sep.

This one would probably be a better choice if you don't want a choppy idle,
retain more low end torque, etc..
