Re: Mopar/Thorley headers

I have them uncoated, and have removed my splash guards to allow
for more airflow under the hood. 47,000 miles & 22 months later, and
I haven't had any problems. If you really want to have them coated,
order them 'uncoated' special, which will save you a few bucks from
both DT, and from whoever you have coat them, as there wouldn't be
any stripping involved.

As far as torque is concerned, it was a major boost for me... Had the
sbec, 3" exhaust, and K&N open filter (FIPK) before the headers... Well
worth the investment (**$475-550 with shipping**).

I bought mine at Truck Performance Center before Michael, and he will
agree that they have probably the best price on the headers... But shop
around, you might get a deal closer to home.
