I bought a set of blocks for my 98 and had to have a pickup outfitter order
some for me because most all the lowering kits are for small axels (mostly
for rice burners I guess). Anyway the ones I got were steel also. I hear
the aluminum blocks can crack especially on V8 Daks. I don't remember what
brand they were though.
