Just last week I got a recall in the mail on my R/T Dakota, it said the
cab and radiator support bolts were inferior and needed to be replaced.
I haven't called about it yet, but I have a popping sound every now and
then from the front. I believe the recall even covers regular Dakotas
97-99. If I'm wrong about the years, I'll check when I get home and post
the corrections later. Alan S.

I have a 1999 R/T RC. It has developed a sort of rubbing/clunking type
sound
that comes from the drivers side front quarter area. It happens mostly
during
right hand turns and it feels as though the steering shaft or something
is rubbing
somewhere. I've had a brief peek but have not had time to crawl under
and fully
inspect the situation. Has anyone had this problem or a similar one. I
know my
description is not great but any info. I could get would help.

Ryan K.
