Michael,
Research is a good thing! Weve seen a 30 HP gain due to TB mods on a ram360
with a catback (flomaster) and a Crane ignition. The issue is where in the
rpm band and is that where you want it! My 98 R/T performs very well with a
mildly ported TB in conjunction with a ram air set up and headers (shortys).
Other things like electric fans, drag radials of the correct diameter for
your truck etc. are slam dunks for going faster. Things like bigger
injectors, higher fuel pressure, non mopar SBECs, are a little more
expensive and may or may not be what you want. Cam shafts, 1.7 to 1
rockers, ported heads, M1 manifolds and the like are $$ and are kinda new to
the OBDII world of computer controlled cars so its hard to say what will
work, although youve come to the right place to find out! Stick around and
Im sure someone on the DML will try all of these eventually and tell their
tale!

Guys I have been seeing alot of people say that they have done things to
there Daks and they haven't gotten any HP increase. Exspesally TB
mods. So whats the deal. Whats good and whats bad. My father and I
are getting ready to dump some serious money into the R/T he just bought
and he is relying on me to tell him what to do and i don't want to tell
hime to do something and it not make any HP increase. I am wondering if
the reason that people aren't getting a HP increase is because they did
some mod before another mod that they should hev done first. ie headers
and exaust before TB etc. Thanks for the help.

Michael D.
