Thought some of you guys/gals might be interested in this.I went to Home
Depot and bought a 3" Clamp type rubber 90 degree elbow. I cut the 3" end
off of one side and the size that was left was a perfect slip fit over the
stock air collector (bolted to the carb). Then I cut the elbow aprox in
the center (cut it a couple of times to get the right angle). Connected it
to a piece of 3" PVC (after cleaning off the lettering with some acetone)
Tomorrow I'm gonna pick up a K+N to fit over the 3" PVC and Walla home
grown HP Air Inlet for the cost of $10 elbow, free pc of PVC, and the cost
of the K+N. What do ya think???? Anybody have a K+N catalog that has the ID
of the K+N inlet? I'll need one with a 3 1/2" inlet or I can bush down.
Bob
