Thanks for the reply... I am hoping on a 15 mpg average (as that's
what MY '95 SLT tends to get) for my wife, and she roughly drives
200-300 miles a week 95% freeway. Her last car got 29-30 mpg on the
same drive, so 1/2 the mileage would be acceptable to me, but 12.5 is
a tough drop in mileage for me!

Thanks for the tip on the TSB's, I plan on signing up on the RT List,
and trying to keep up as much info about the truck as I can, and
relate that back to the list for other future/current RT readers.

Notable experiences so far:

1) 12 comments from people at the first gas fill up (WOW, COOL, etc.)

2) Wife was followed 8 miles by a CHP officer, then he blew by her
and then turned around (she was going the speed limit 65 mph)

3) We drove through a neighborhood with 6-10 kids playing the street and
they all started giving the 'thumbs up', "COOL truck, WHAT is it?"

4) Had a guy in a '90 something mustand LX 5.0 tailgate me, until
I hit the 'S' off-ramp exit (bruce-- I-8 eastbound, by the I-15
northbound connector)... it's a 45-50 mph right turn left turn,
2 lane off ramp that then goes staight again for about 3/4 mile...
Took it at 75 mph.... No body roll, no tire noise... Solid flat
turn!

5) Don't drive after drinking a big-gulp, large (or small) cup of
coffee, or on a full stomach... (Enough said).

Sam '95 SLT/'99 RT
