Jules,
Any idea what the engineering change order is about? Where I do my thing it
usually takes a major defect and an act of God to shut the line down, and
then I get to see all the Mfg. engineers curse me and work through the
weekend implementing the change. Hopefully its related to the radio
controls on the steering wheel???

as of today please be advised that all r/t ext cab dodge dak trucks are
"on-hold" at the warren assembly facility due to an engineering change
order. delay-maybe 2 wks to 2 +/- mos... no more info... but i'll tell
you... it is a huge place...drives for the assembly line is 50' in the
air...
mr you know who... yes this includes your r/t... they have the production
order... the # was correct.
in certain cases... we are able to connect a new dak/ram order for a
customer and track it thru assembly in warren. mi and "our in-house team"
up there pulls it to one side... and it gets the "mpi good-guy" production
double-slamn down super inspection right there at dodge truck assembly and
check out so as to produce a max effort new dak or ram...w/0 OE defects....
my guy called this afternoon...
