Sounds like you have a mighty close but healthy relationship
with your Dak.

I'd recommend that you try to find a fine-detailing shop
and see if they use the industrial strength Scotch Guard
rather than the commercial one.

Industrial strength lasts at least 10 times as long.
I used it on my Dak.
