Dan,

You definitely need a full 3" exhaust. Maybe you can get a "one off" JBA
head pipe when the 2 pipes join in a Y with a 3" flange outlet. Then you
can get one of those 3" hi-flo cats. As long as you have the bungs
welded in for the before and aft O2 sensor I don't think you'll set off
any codes.

whole system removed
