Bruce,

Add another JET II to the "bit the farm" list.

I had to send mine back today. The DAK was running progressively worse
over the last week until I finally got a check engine light Tuesday
night. Gas mileage had gone downhill, it wasn't idling very smoothe at
all and I was contending with the annoying surge between 2000-2400 rpms.
Removed the chip, reseated, still got the light. So I called JET for a
RMA number and it's on the way back today.

My idle has settled down again and the surge went away, so I think it's
been going bad for awhile. Funny thing is I lost a ton of mid-range
after the removal of the chip, so it was working to some degree. Wonder
what a properly working unit will do ;) Should get it back in about a
week.

Bob
