Robert; I usually go about 35,000 miles before changing the cap and
rotor as sort of a preventative measure. Have seen them work for
100,000 without a problem but I bet spark performance was not the
best. Changed the one on my Dak recently and the original was a little
burn't . Did notice a little smoother
idle.
