Good point! Also we would have to consider if the 5spd or slushbox would
also have any impact too(opening up another can of worms). Ducking &

You could be leaving yourself open here Greg. My 318 with 3.90
gears will get 400 miles w/22 gal tank, thats 18.1 to 18.5 mpg.
I know theres some 318's out there w/3.21 gears that must get
close to 20-23 mph. That could be close or "CLOSER".
