What me worry?? Nah... I have full FF bunker gear (Scott tank included).
The bottom line I can get close to 500 miles on a tank (22gal)of fuel
cruising on the highway (but no speeding and no spanking), can a V8 do
that??? Now also bear in mind that my truck is bone stock (with a cap on
the back).

No, you're right, I don't think a V-8 can do that. I do speed (training my
racing pigeons) usually around 85 and I and averaging 19.2 MPG over the last
2 months of training.

Don't ask me how as I don't have a clue. I switched to 89 as the pinging
was getting worse and I put Mobil synth in the last oil change. I do leave
the tailgate down. Still haven't got the JBA's on. After racing season.

OBTW: My dad is a retired Chief from the Tucson FD and my brother is a
Captain.
