[Fwd: R/T lighter?]

Sam, nothing personal I hope? The R/T Dakota, for my purposes (raceing
anyone and everyone) is woefully underpowered. That's just me. The truck
you have is fine for your purposes, and surely not underpowered. Race a
Z-28 or any number of fast cars out there that love picking on R/T's,
and you might feel a little outgunned. See where I'm comeing from? This
whole thread was started because of the equally fast 318 Dakota time
slips posted by numerous dml'ers and to me as an R/T owner, I find it a
bit frustrating. So I've learned a lot due to the great posts on the
subject, and as a result, I'm planning a T/B upgrade and headders.

Also for Alan's benefit, anybody got a weight for a 1997 4x4 Clubcab V8 auto with 22 gallons of fuel, a fibreglass cap and a 200 lb driver? I suspect around 4500+ lb.

That is the vehicle that I stated was 'not underpowered' with a stock 318. I also believe it's heavier than a RT.

Thanks

Sam
