  55 knots (63 mph), mandated by law. Any faster and they're legally not
an ultralight. (Though there are loopholes, and that speed is in level
flight...)

  There are actually quite a few people on the list interested in ultralights
and/or flying in general. I met Mark at Oshkosh a couple of times, and I
get mail from fellow pilots who notice my signature every now and again.
