Thank you, Frank. CARB is extremely strict - wonder why the EPA won't
approve them.

My tax dollars at work.

For those you who are interested:

The Mopar Performance Magnum intake manifold (MPI single plane) P/N
P5249816, Mopar performance has committed to shipping 81 of these
manifolds
to dealers on 11/20/98. Out of the 81, 31 have been ordered by Mopar
        Performance dealers.

The engine controllers for the OBD II vehicles, the controllers for
the 97's
have been completed and have received CARB approval. The EPA has
failed to
approve these. If Mopar Performance cannot get EPA approval, then
the
controllers will not be released and we must go aftermarket. If the
EPA does
        approve the controllers,
then we can expect OBD II controllers released approx. 1 year after
the
vehicle release date (e.g. 98 controllers released on late 99).
Mopar
        performance has a
new phone number for the Magnum Tech Line, the number is
1-800-362-3569.

                Frank
