Alan,
I personally have not had any problem with heat. My headers have been on
for 2 years now. Actually, the under hood temperature is lower. My stock
manifolds held heat for hours after shutting off the engine. The headers
cool down much sooner; there is no comparison.
As far as the heat wrap goes, remember this. It will draw moisture and
possibly/probably cause premature oxiation. Something you may want to
consider.

Has anyone with haeders had a problem with heat in the engine
compartment? I was thinking about wrapping them before installation. I
realize they won't look as cool, but I only want them to work good.
Anyone done this? One of my previous hot rods used to go through
starters and spark plug wires pretty fast. Alan s.
