Jav,
The mopar headers ar long tube style and will produce more top end power
than the shorty style. The shorties from JBA are 400 series stainless
steel. The Gibsons should in reality, be JBA headers as well, but may not
be stailess (check before you buy)...
Basically, the mope headers are what they are, for what they charge, and are
different from the others (wont fit the R/T, but supposedly they have a new
set that will...)

Subject: DML: Headers: Mopar Vs JBA/Gibson
This question goes out to anyone who can help clear this issue up.
Mopar Part number P 4876901 [Header for a 98 R/T] lists @ $625 [according to
the guys at the Magnum Tech Line. Steve @ RV Performance Connection quoted
me $400 for JBA shorties and the same for Gibsons, and CBS performance
Automotive quoted me $390 for the Gibsons with free shipping. Why would I
want to shell out an extra $225 for Mopar? Pardon my ignorance, but it just
doesn't make sense. If anyone out there could shed some light on the
subject, please be my guest. Also, if the deals I mentioned sound good to
anyone, these are the phone numbers for:
RV Performance Connection: 1-800-875-2112 [Steve]
CBS Performance Automotive: 1-800-685-1492 [Free Shipping]
