  Yep, DT made the older ones, but I think Leach is making all of the new
ones. (I don't know wether Mopar Performance has completely switched to
Leach or if they still use DT for the older pipes.)

   Yep, good points. It would definitely be worth the money to have them
coated. (ceramic) You might even be able to get them from Leach cheaper
if you get them without the chrome. (the coater has to strip the
chrome off anyway, so you pay to have it put on and pay to have it
stripped off). A coating will probably cost somewhere in the
neighborhood of $100-200. A ceramic coating makes especially good
sense when the pipes aren't stainless. (Which the MP ones are not.)
  The coating will cause the headers to last longer, keep the engine
bay cooler, and also help to increase performance.
