Yes, you should have a 9 1/4 axle under the R/T.
The part number depends on brake size, 9" or 10",
Ratio and TrackLoc. The most popular axle for the
R/T is the 3.92 TrackLoc with 9" brakes. That is
part number 52070200AA. There are several other
part numbers it could be. Look at the tape around
the axle tube, Passenger side right next to the brake
backing plate. That tape will tell you exactly what you have.
