The 275/60' and the 235/70's are damn near the same exact height. I
tried the 275's on my truck, bfore I got the 255/60/15's (tad shorter).
General rule of thumb is that given same rim diameter you can add 20mm
to the tread width and take away 5% of the sidewall and they will stay
the same height. Example: 215/75/15, 235/70/15, 255/65/15 (size on '99
tire & handeling pkg.), and 275/60/15's are all the same height
(roughly). This isn't an exact science but it works enough for speedo.
