18 !! HA... I'd like to get 18 mpg.. LOL... You truck is still
really 'tight', and the engine hasn't fully broken in yet. Once
it 'loosens up' (3000-5000 miles approx.) you'll notice the
mpg going up. Heck, my wife's RT has (2000 miles so far)
gone from 11.5 to 13.5 average, with a 200 highway trip getting
14.5 mpg... Give it a little time. Forget trying to get more than
25-27 mpg though, as I haven't seen anything but a Toyota
Tacoma do that (empty, 5spd, 4cyl).... And that truck is about
600# lighter.
