I also ran 4 runs at Carlsbad, and the first was something
like a 15.3 @ 92 mph (per what Bruce told me, as we didn't get
our slips--he went to the tower)... That run was with only 40 miles
on a freshly reset computer, and about a 30-40 cool off. I WON! (barely)
The remaining 3 runs were nearly identical to Martin's 2nd run, with
the exception of a 2.375 - 60' time, 10.050's in the 1/8th @
71.58 mph (consistantly), and a 15.555 @ 90.75 mph... I couldn't
hook up for the life of me, and I could feel my low end fall away
with each run (too little back-pressure seems to be the culprit)--
might be replacing the muffler to something more restrictive.
This is the first time I have gone 4-0 .... vehicles I beat-
Bruce's '99 R/T, a '72 Mustang Mach I, a '90's civic, and
when I wanted to go against Martin, they paired me up with this guy in a
92-93 Chevy 2500 long-bed-extra cab... He had me at the
60', but by the 330 I was a length past him... and got a 1.999 over
him (90.53 mph vs. 80.something)...

I have plenty of top end, now I need to get the low end back,
plus lower the rear end ratio a tad so I can pop into 5th! :)
