Sam,
Is that a diff out of a newer Dak? (i.e. R/T, 98, 99, etc...)
I'd like to upgrade my rearend someday too; I'll be looking forward
to hearing how you make out with the diff. So far, I haven't been
able to find any concrete answers about what is involved in that swap.
My concerns are width and length. I think the newer Daks have a wider
wheelbase, and also the 9.25 is longer than the 8.25. I suppose width
wouldn't be *too* big of a deal, it might make the tires stick out
more... The length I'm a little more worried about. Might need
a custom driveshaft... ? Speaking of which, what are your plans with
the driveshaft; just having one custom made?
