Jack,
I think that the reason your security light doesn't go on is because you don't
have the factory alarm. It was not a standard feature and I was looking at your
sales sticker on your web page and I didn't see it listed.

I do not have the factory alarm either but mine still honks when I lock it and
still has a panic button that makes it "go off" even though it's not there.
