How did the Ram front grill/brush attach to your truck? Frame mounted or
just
bumper? Is it a sturdy design? Thanks
Kyle

The RAM grill/brush guard attatches to the frame using the mounting bolts
where the bumper attatches to the frame. Basically you take the nut off
of the bumper mounting bolts and attach a "L" type bracket and the lower
end of the grill/brush guard mounts to it. Four bolts to loosen and
tighten, no holes to drill.

I think that the mount is pretty sturdy. I wouldn't want to do a major
amount of pushing with it. For general grill protection and moving small
stuff out of the way when you are doing a little 4x4 action, it works
pretty good.

The worse part about the install was mounting the brush guards (pieces
that protect the headlights). You have to mark and drill all of the
mounting holes for the brush guard on the grill guard. There are no
factory premarked drilling locations. I just took my time, did several
measurements, and tests by holdin the brush guards up and having my wife
help my eye the location and they turned out pretty straight and even.

I know that this is long, but hope it helps.
