Vortech currently doesn't have a system for the 97+ Dakotas or Rams. The
performance is not what I expected, but then again I never ran the truck
before installing the SC so it could've been running in the 16's for all I
know. I think that with a set of DOT's or Slicks I would be in the low
14.00 second range but then again I don't race that often to go out and
spend the money on racing tires. When I had the blower on my 94 Sport
which was a RC with many modifications it would kick the damn thing
sideways on the down shift into first at about 30 mph. I wasn't able to
get any times on the 94 after the SC because I would hit the rev limiter
before the auto would shift.
